Audience Participation to the beat of a different Drum at Good Ground Park September 16, 2017

The final concert of the summer season at Good Ground Park ended with a bang, literally!  The audience was treated to a performance of Taiko Drums by Ryu Sku Kan, the Japanese Arts Center in Farmingville. At the end of the concert, members of the audience were invited on stage to participate. Director Gerard Senese told the audience the group made the drums from old wine barrels and explained how they followed Japanese tradition to recreate the sounds of the ancient drums.   It was an exciting concluding event.
